Those first days with a new baby are something you can never get back. The tiny fingers, the sleepy sighs, the way your older kids look at their new sibling for the very first time. As a South Shore MA newborn photographer my whole goal is to capture all of it, exactly as it is, in the comfort of your own home.
No studio. No props. Just your family, your space, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with a brand new baby.

If you have older kids at home I want them involved. Not standing stiffly next to the baby trying to hold it together for the camera. Actually involved. Running around, being themselves, sneaking in kisses when they think I’m not looking.
I never put pressure on older siblings to perform. Kids can feel that energy immediately and it never leads to the images you actually want. Instead I let them warm up at their own pace, find moments where they’re genuinely curious about or connected to the baby, and capture those. The results are always so much better than anything posed.
Some of my favorite newborn images are the ones where a big brother is belly laughing or a big sister is whispering something to the baby that nobody else can hear. That’s the real story of those early days and that’s what I’m there to document.

Pets are family. If your dog is part of your everyday life then they belong in your newborn photos too. Some of my favorite sessions have included the family dog wandering into a moment completely unplanned and making the whole thing even better.

My newborn lifestyle sessions are relaxed and unhurried. We follow your baby’s rhythm, take breaks for feeding and soothing, and let the session unfold naturally. Typically sessions run about 1.5 to 2 hours but there is no rush. We take the time we need.
I photograph newborns any time in the first couple of months and honestly some of my favorite sessions happen on the later end when babies are a little more alert and interactive. There is no strict window so whenever feels right for your family is the right time.
I photograph in your home using the the details that are already there. Your baby’s nursery, your living room, the spot by the window where you’ve been spending all your mornings. Those details matter and they make your images feel uniquely yours. Worried you don’t have enough light? No stress, I bring my own!
